Rawalpindi Students Enjoy 9-Day Eidul Fitr Break

Students in Rawalpindi are set to enjoy a 9-day Eidul Fitr holiday, with the break beginning on March 29 and ending on April 5, as announced by the government, giving them an extended break to celebrate the festive occasion.

The holiday period includes both public and private schools, and no board exams for 9th grade will be held during this time. All educational institutions will remain closed for the full week of Eid, allowing students to spend quality time with their families and friends. The Sindh government has also announced extended Eidul Fitr holidays for government employees, with offices closed from March 31 to April 2, and an additional public holiday on April 4 to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

The federal government has also announced a 3-day public holiday from March 31 to April 2, and Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced Eidul Fitr holidays for educational institutions in Punjab from March 28 to April 2, with the new academic session starting on April 3. Federal government schools will also observe Eid holidays from March 31 to April 4, as predicted by the Meteorological Department that Eidul Fitr is likely to fall on March 31.

Normal academic activities will resume after April 5, and students are expected to return to their schools, refreshed and rejuvenated after the extended break. The government's decision to announce extended holidays has been welcomed by students and parents alike, who are looking forward to celebrating Eidul Fitr with their loved ones.
