In addition to the federal government's announcement, the Sindh government has also declared a public holiday from March 31 to April 2, 2025, for Eid ul Fitr, with all public and semi-government offices closed from Monday to Wednesday. Pakistan Railways has announced special train services to facilitate passengers traveling before and after Eidul Fitr.
The moon sighting by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on March 30 will determine the date for Eid ul Fitr celebrations across Pakistan, and the government's announcements aim to facilitate the public in observing the holiday and traveling during this period.
