Atlas Honda has launched the Honda CG 150 bike in Pakistan, a powerful motorcycle with a classic design, priced at Rs459,900, generating buzz in the market as a worthy successor to the legendary CG125.

The CG 150 bike features a traditional look, basic modern features, and an ex-factory price of Rs 459,900. It has a 150cc engine, all-forward gear transmission system, combi brake system, LED lights, and a gear setup designed for easier use. The design takes cues from the CG 125, with a round LED headlight, chrome fenders, and a flat seat. The company aims to attract buyers seeking a simple and reliable motorcycle with updated functions.

The bike's design is similar to Honda's older CD 200 Roadmaster, which is still fetching high prices in the used market. The CG150 features a 4-stroke, 150cc SOHC air-cooled engine with a maximum output of 8.75kW and a peak torque of 12.5 Nm. It has a 5-speed constant mesh transmission, self and kick-start options, and a compression ratio of 9.1:1. The bike also features a telescopic front suspension, twin rear cushion setup, and a combination of 2.75-18 front and 90/90-18/C rear tyres.

The launch of the Honda CG 150 bike is timely, coinciding with the government's upcoming electric vehicle policy, which aims to introduce subsidies for electric bikes and rickshaws and roll out 116,000 EVs in two years. Atlas Honda is targeting commuters seeking a reliable and fuel-efficient ride with the CG150, which is expected to attract 150cc long tour enthusiasts.
