Karachi is expected to experience partly cloudy and humid weather for the next three days, with a chance of light drizzle during nighttime and early morning hours, and maximum temperatures ranging between 33°C and 35°C. The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to stay updated with weather reports and limit non-essential travel during early morning and evening hours due to heat and humidity-related health risks.

The monsoon system remains active in parts of Sindh, with light rain predicted for several districts. The Karachi administration has directed civic agencies to work together to ensure smooth drainage of rainwater during rains. Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi chaired a meeting to review preparations for the expected wet weather, directing officers to make coordinated efforts to ensure effective drainage and prevent waterlogging on roads.

A fresh monsoon spell is expected to hit Karachi on July 15, bringing light to moderate rainfall to the city and other parts of Sindh. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a red alert for potential flash flooding in several regions due to expected heavy to very heavy rainfall. The warning covers several regions including Chitral, Dir, Swat, and others, with possible landslides in hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

The monsoon system is expected to trigger flash floods, urban flooding, and landslides between July 15 and 17, and citizens are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the latest weather updates to ensure their safety.
