PTA Launches Temporary Mobile Registration System for Visitors
The new system is expected to benefit thousands of visitors who travel to Pakistan each year, providing them with a convenient and hassle-free way to register their mobile devices and stay connected during their visit, thanks to the efforts of the PTA.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced a 120-day temporary mobile registration system, allowing overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors to register their personal mobile phones for up to 120 days during each visit to Pakistan, ensuring uninterrupted mobile connectivity and reliable communication.
The registration process is free, fully digitized, and accessible online through the Device Registration System (DRS) portal, eliminating the need for paperwork and manual procedures. This initiative aims to provide efficient, inclusive, and innovative digital services, prioritizing user convenience and promoting a seamless mobile experience for all visitors.
The PTA's commitment to delivering innovative digital services is expected to improve the experience for international travelers and diaspora members, making it easier for them to stay connected with family, work, and use local services. The temporary mobile registration system is a significant step towards promoting a more connected Pakistan and ensuring that visitors can stay in touch with their loved ones and access essential services without any disruptions.
With the launch of this system, the PTA is reaffirming its commitment to providing user-centric digital services that cater to the needs of overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors, promoting a more connected and accessible Pakistan for all.
