Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned Bilal Azhar Kayani the additional portfolio of Minister of State for Finance, expanding his responsibilities within the federal government. Kayani will hold this position in addition to his current roles as Minister of State for Railways and Head of the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit.

Bilal Azhar Kayani, an MNA from Jhelum, brings a strong background in economics to his new role, having earned a degree in Economics from University College London. His experience in key positions, including Assistant Secretary General of PML-N and work at JPMorgan, the Ministry of Finance, and the Privatisation Commission, will likely inform his decision-making as Minister of State for Finance.
