Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has tasked PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to present Pakistan's case for peace on the international stage, following the recent military escalation with India. Bilawal has accepted the responsibility and will lead a delegation to inform the international community about Indian aggression and its false propaganda.

The move comes as tensions over the Pahalgam attack continue to build up, resulting in civilian casualties and airstrikes. Pakistan has gained diplomatic support from China, but no other country has stood with India without linking it with Pakistan. India has started taking revenge on countries that helped Islamabad in the recent military flare-up.

A high-level committee under Bilawal's leadership has been formed, including former ministers Khurram Dastgir Khan and Hina Rabbani Khar, and former foreign secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani. The Pakistani side claims that Bilawal's delegation will advocate for regional peace and counter India's narrative. This move is seen as an attempt by Pakistan to control the narrative internationally and present its own mission.

The ceasefire between Pakistan and India has been reached after American intervention, but experts are skeptical about its longevity. Prime Minister Shehbaz has also offered India a comprehensive dialogue to settle contentious issues, including Kashmir and joint counter-terrorism efforts. The success of Bilawal's peace mission will be crucial in determining the future of Pakistan-India relations.
