Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, has emphasized the need for cooperation between Pakistan and India's intelligence agencies to reduce terrorism in South Asia, stating that joint efforts by the Inter-Services Intelligence and Research and Analysis Wing could significantly decrease terrorism in both countries.

During a media briefing at the UN Headquarters in New York, Bilawal condemned India's recent strikes inside Pakistan as violations of the UN Charter and international law. He also highlighted Pakistan's commitment to combating terrorism and the country's sufferings in this fight, while criticizing India's use of terrorism allegations to demonize Muslims and suppress opposition in Kashmir.

A high-powered Pakistani delegation, led by Bilawal, has arrived in Washington to present Pakistan's perspective on the recent tensions with India and counter New Delhi's lobbying presence in the US. The delegation met with top UN officials and representatives of various countries, media, and think tanks, drawing attention to Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan and its transnational assassination campaign.

Bilawal urged the international community to remain engaged in South Asia, warning that the risk of conflict between nuclear-armed neighbors has grown since the recent ceasefire. He also called for a comprehensive dialogue to resolve outstanding issues between India and Pakistan, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, and warned against India's weaponization of water through its unilateral hold on the Indus Waters Treaty.

The delegation's visit to the US and the UN is seen as a significant effort by Pakistan to present its case and seek international support for a peaceful resolution of the tensions with India, with Bilawal's call for cooperation between intelligence agencies being a key aspect of this effort.
