Punjab Launches Ramzan Package Registration 2025 for Deserving Families

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the launch of the Nigehban Ramzan Package, a historic initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to 67,630 deserving families across the province, including Lodhran district, with a direct cash transfer of Rs 10,000 to each family.
The package is part of the Punjab government's efforts to assist the underprivileged during the holy month of Ramazan, which is a time of patience, piety, and sacrifice. The CM expressed gratitude to Allah for granting the opportunity to experience the blessings of this holy month and prayed for Pakistan's peace, prosperity, and progress. The Nigehban Ramzan Package includes financial aid of Rs 31 billion directly transferred to deserving families, with the Price Control and Commodities Management Punjab allocating Rs 30 billion for the province-wide distribution.
The Bank of Punjab and Pakistan Post are collaborating to ensure door-to-door delivery of Pay Orders to eligible families, which can be deposited in designated banks for cash withdrawal. The beneficiaries will undergo CNIC verification and biometric authentication to receive the amount. Additionally, Sahulat Ramzan Bazaars have been established across Punjab to provide assistance to those in need. Maryam Nawaz urged well-off individuals to support those in need during Ramazan, emphasizing that the month is not just about worship but also about helping others.
