Banks Ramadan Timing 2025: Revised Hours Announced
The State Bank of Pakistan's decision to revise banking hours during Ramadan aims to strike a balance between the needs of employees and customers, ensuring a harmonious and respectful observance of the holy month.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced revised office and banking hours for Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1446 A.H, with banks operating from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays.
The revised schedule aims to balance the needs of both employees and customers during the holy month of Ramadan. Public dealings and business hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. This adjustment in banking hours will ensure that employees can observe their fasting hours while also providing adequate services to customers.
All commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks will follow the revised schedule. It is worth noting that banks will be closed for public dealings on March 3 to deduct Zakat, although bank employees will still attend the office on this day. After Ramadan, banks and financial institutions will revert to their pre-Ramadan schedule.
The revised banking hours are expected to facilitate the banking operations during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to the customers while also respecting the religious obligations of the employees.
