UK Weather Warning: Thunderstorms Hit Fife and Norfolk
The Met Office warnings are in place to alert residents of potential disruptions and hazards, and people are advised to check the latest weather forecasts and warnings before traveling or going about their daily activities.

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms and heavy rain in Fife and Norfolk, predicting travel disruption, flooding, and power outages due to heavy downpours, with up to 30mm of rain expected in some areas.
The warning for Fife is in place from 11am to 6pm, with the Met Office warning of surface water flooding, damage to buildings and structures, and delays to train services and driving conditions affected by spray and standing water. In Norfolk, the warning covers the entire county until 7pm on Sunday, with predictions of disruption from lightning strikes, flooding, power cuts, and delays to public services.
Heavy rain, lightning, and hail are expected in Norfolk, with 15-25mm of rain predicted in most areas and up to 40-60mm in areas where storms are repeated. This comes after heavy rain and thunderstorms damaged homes and businesses in Norfolk on June 13, including a restaurant in Norwich that was forced to close due to storm damage.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the latest weather updates to minimize disruptions and ensure their safety.
