Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, visited remote villages in Sindh to inspect the progress of the Sindh Peoples Housing initiative, a program aimed at providing permanent shelter to flood-affected families, and distributed property documents to beneficiaries.
During his visit, Bhutto Zardari emphasized the importance of women's empowerment in the recovery process, stating that the ownership of the homes is being granted to women to ensure the future of the entire generation. He met with flood-affected people and distributed documents to those who will receive land under the Sindh People's Housing project, accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
The PPP chairman also visited a tactile tile track for visually impaired children and a school and dispensary in a flood-affected village, showcasing the party's commitment to providing comprehensive support to affected communities. He directed party representatives to prioritize issues faced by the village, including water shortages, demonstrating his dedication to addressing the needs of the people.
