Pakistanis will observe Shab-e-Qadr, also known as Night of Decree, on Thursday night, praying and seeking blessings on the 27th night of Ramazan, marking the completion of the Quran's revelation and considered one of the most blessed nights in Islam.

The night is significant in Islam as it is described as "one better than a thousand months." Mosques will be illuminated, and people will pray at homes, distribute food, and perform other devotional activities. Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of Ramazan, will precede this night, and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) has forecast Eidul Fitr on March 31, with the crescent likely to be visible on March 30.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that this night is better than a thousand months of worship, and those who miss it will be deprived of all goodness. The exact date of Laylat al-Qadr is unknown, but it falls within the last ten nights of Ramadan. To make the most of the last ten nights of Ramadan, one should increase in prayer, recitation of the Quran, and acts of kindness.

Reciting and reflecting on the Quran is also important, as it was on this night that the Quran was revealed. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was more generous during Ramadan, and one should follow his example. Seeking forgiveness and repentance is also important, as it is a chance for spiritual renewal. The last ten nights of Ramadan are a time for perseverance and consistency, and one should strive to maintain istiqamah (steadfastness) beyond Ramadan.

As Muslims in Pakistan and around the world observe Shab-e-Qadr, they will be seeking to make the most of this blessed night, and the last ten nights of Ramadan, by increasing their devotion, prayer, and acts of kindness, and striving to maintain the spiritual growth and blessings of the month of Ramadan throughout the year.
