The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has denied reports that new currency notes will not be issued for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025, confirming that commercial banks will continue to distribute new banknotes through their nationwide branches, with Rs 27 billion worth of new notes already supplied to 17,000 branches.
