SSGC Ramadan Gas Supply Schedule Announced
The gas supply schedule is designed to provide uninterrupted gas supplies for Sehar and Iftaar preparations, with a focus on prioritizing peak meal times and minimizing inconvenience for consumers observing fasts, amidst a nationwide gas shortfall and a 10% depletion in the country's gas reserves.

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a gas supply schedule for Ramadan, aiming to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers during sehri and iftar hours, despite a nationwide gas shortfall.
The company has devised a load management plan to manage distribution efficiently, which involves suspending gas supply at certain hours to prioritize availability during critical meal preparation times. According to the schedule, gas will be available from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM, while supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
The plan aims to prioritize peak meal times and minimize inconvenience for consumers observing fasts. SSGC has assured its customers that it will work to provide convenience for food preparations during Sehar and Iftaar, despite a 10% depletion in the country's gas reserves leading to a widening gas demand-supply gap.
The company will conduct gas pressure profiling during the suspended hours to ensure efficient distribution, and the gas availability timings will be from 3:00 am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm. SSGC's efforts to manage the gas supply during Ramadan are expected to provide relief to consumers during the holy month.
