Gas Schedule in Ramadan 2025 for Uninterrupted Supply
The gas schedule is designed to prioritize peak meal times, ensuring that consumers have access to gas during Sehr and Iftar hours, while also managing the gas demand-supply gap caused by the 10% depletion in the country's gas reserves.

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a gas load shedding schedule for Ramadan, ensuring uninterrupted supply during Sehr and Iftar hours to prioritize peak meal times and minimize inconvenience for consumers observing fasts during the holy month.
The schedule allows for gas supply from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm and from 3:00 am to 9:00 am, while suspension occurs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and 10:00 pm to 3:00 am. This plan aims to provide convenience to customers for food preparations during Sehar and Iftaar. The company has worked out the timings to ensure improved gas pressure during peak hours.
However, many customers have expressed concerns and criticism over the schedule, citing the limited time for food preparation and the inconvenience it may cause to non-Muslims, patients, and senior citizens who cannot fast. The SSGC attributes the gas demand-supply gap to a 10% depletion in the country's gas reserves, which has led to the implementation of this schedule.
Despite the concerns, the SSGC is committed to providing uninterrupted gas supply during the holy month of Ramadan, and the new schedule is designed to balance the needs of all consumers while managing the available gas resources effectively.
