Islamabad Weather: Mild Temperatures Forecasted for Lahore
The mild temperatures and dry weather in Lahore and Punjab are a contrast to the cold and dry conditions prevailing in Sindh, highlighting the diverse weather patterns across the country, with the hill stations of Murree and Galyat experiencing light rain and snowfall.

Lahore and most districts of Punjab are expected to experience mild temperatures and dry weather on Sunday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, with a 10% chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies.
The department has forecasted a minimum temperature of 10°C and a maximum temperature of 25°C in Lahore, with periods of sun and cloud cover. However, the hill stations of Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas are expected to experience light rain and light snowfall due to cloudy skies, providing some respite to the disrupted winter season.
The lack of snowfall in Murree has had a significant impact on the economy, with businesses relying on tourism suffering losses worth millions. The authorities have decided to conclude the snowfall emergency in Murree by February 28, but with Ramazan approaching, the winter tourism season is practically over. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has also predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of Sindh province for the next 24 hours.
As the weather forecast continues to affect various parts of the country, residents and tourists alike are advised to stay updated with the latest weather conditions to plan their activities accordingly.
