Shashi Tharoor, a Congress MP, will lead a 10-member delegation to the US to brief on Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terror attack, as part of the Indian government's effort to counter Pakistan's narrative on the Kashmir issue. The delegation includes representatives from various parties, including the Lok Janshakti Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and BJP.

The Indian government plans to send multi-party delegations abroad to brief on Pakistan's role in cross-border terrorism and Operation Sindoor, a move seen as an effort to counter Pakistan's narrative on the Kashmir issue. This initiative is likely a response to US President Donald Trump's recent statements on the issue. The delegation will depart on May 21-22 to various countries, including the US, UK, EU, Russia, Japan, South Africa, and West Asia.

The delegation includes Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Former Ambassador of India to the USA, and Dr Varun Jeph, Director (IOR) - Liaison Officer for the delegation.
