India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar launched an attack on Pakistan, confirming that Operation Sindoor is still ongoing and emphasizing the need for zero tolerance to terrorism.

Jaishankar expressed gratitude to those showing solidarity with India and acknowledged the "resolute response" underway against terrorism, a shared threat to the international community. He stated that India's approach towards Pakistan has always been "measured and responsible" and remains so, despite the ongoing tensions between the two countries.

The UK has warned that nobody wins in an India-Pak escalation, while US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called for de-escalation between the two countries, citing the need for both countries to identify methods to reduce tensions. Rubio had previously spoken with Pakistan's Army chief about reducing tensions, highlighting the international community's concern over the escalating situation.

India has been responding to cross-border attacks and strikes, including an overnight shelling that killed a senior official in Jammu and Kashmir. The country has also been conducting Operation Sindoor to target terror camps deep inside Pakistan and the Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK), in an effort to curb terrorism and ensure national security.

As the situation continues to unfold, India remains committed to its stance on terrorism, with Jaishankar conveying the message of zero tolerance to Russia and the EU, and reiterating the need for the international community to come together to address this shared threat.
