China's registered nurse population has seen an average annual growth rate of 8% in recent years, with the National Health Commission promoting elderly nursing care, using online platforms and home-based care for seniors. Nurses now provide a range of services including elderly care, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Over 4,000 institutions offer door-to-door nursing services, and more than 85% of medical institutions provide continuity of care services, including online consultations and home-based nursing guidance.
