Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has warned that India will take strong action against terrorists if they harm any Indian, while visiting the Uri sector to assess damage caused by Pakistani shelling.

Sinha interacted with soldiers in Baramulla and Uri, boosting their morale and urging them to respond strongly to Pakistan's attempts to target Indian military establishments and citizens. He praised the soldiers' determination and vowed that the Narendra Modi government would neutralize terrorists, promising to hunt down those who harm Indian citizens.

The LG visited the Uri sector to assess the damage caused by Pakistani shelling in civilian areas over the past three nights. He directed the administration to provide immediate relief to affected families and ensure their safety. Sinha interacted with residents of Gingal, which witnessed heavy overnight shelling, and visited Lagama village to take appraisal of damage due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan.

The Lieutenant Governor's visit and statements come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Pakistan's shelling causing damage to civilian areas. The Indian government has vowed to take strong action against those who disrupt peace and harm its citizens, with Sinha stating that if someone disrupts peace, they will be taught a lesson that will be remembered by their descendants for generations.
