The OIC's statement has been widely criticized by India, which sees it as an attempt to meddle in its internal affairs. The Indian government's strong response to the OIC's statement and the ongoing ceasefire violations has made it clear that it will not back down in the face of aggression.

India has strongly rejected the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) statement on the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it "absurd" and "politically motivated", as Pakistani troops continue to violate the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian government has criticized the OIC for its refusal to acknowledge the cross-border linkages of the attack, stating that it is an attempt by Pakistan to manipulate the group to push an anti-India agenda. The OIC had expressed concern over the deteriorating security environment in South Asia, but India has made it clear that the Kashmir issue is a bilateral one and has ruled out third-party mediation.

In response to the ongoing ceasefire violations, the Indian Army has given a strong response to Pakistani troops, and the Indian Air Force is set to conduct a two-day military exercise along the border with Pakistan. The government has also made preparations for civil defence drills across the country, as tensions continue to rise between the two nations.

India has taken countermeasures against Pakistan for its support of cross-border terrorism and has put the Indus Waters Treaty on hold until Pakistan stops supporting terrorism. The Indian government has stressed that the Pahalgam terrorist attack had cross-border linkages and was an attempt by Pakistan to divert attention from its role in supporting cross-border terrorism.

The situation along the LoC remains volatile, with both countries engaging in a war of words over the Kashmir issue. India has made it clear that it will not tolerate any interference in its internal matters and will take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
