Today's Weather: Nepal Expects Rain and Snowfall

Nepal is experiencing varied weather conditions, with partly cloudy skies in hilly regions, mostly clear skies in other areas, and fog in some parts of the Tarai, while light rain with thunder is forecasted in Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast possible rainfall in many parts of the country on Thursday, with a possibility of snowfall in the late afternoon in high hills and mountains. Light snowfall is expected in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the five provinces today.
Rain and snowfall are expected in six provinces, except for Madhesh Province, on Thursday. Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely in hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today, while light snowfall is possible in high hilly and mountainous areas. The weather will be partly to generally clear in hilly areas and partly cloudy to mostly clear elsewhere.
