Karachi Do Darya Restaurant Fire Engulfs Building
The incidents have raised concerns about public safety and the need for effective measures to prevent such tragedies. The investigation into the fire and the domestic violence incident is ongoing, with the authorities working to determine the causes and bring those responsible to account.

A devastating fire broke out at a private restaurant in Karachi's Do Darya area, completely destroying the structure due to its construction material and strong sea winds that fueled the flames.
The fire started suddenly and spread rapidly, but fortunately, there were no casualties as the restaurant was unoccupied at the time of the incident. Rescue 1122 teams arrived promptly and managed to bring the fire under control after an intense effort lasting over an hour. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
In a separate incident, a tragic case of domestic violence occurred in the Bagh-e-Korangi area of Korangi, Karachi, where a man, identified as Dilawar, set his sister-in-law, Gulshan Bibi, on fire after dousing her with petrol. The incident resulted in Gulshan's death and left her two children with burn injuries. The police have launched an investigation and are searching for Dilawar, who remains at large.
Both incidents highlight the importance of ensuring safety measures and resolving domestic disputes peacefully. The authorities must work diligently to investigate the cause of the fire and bring the perpetrator of the heinous crime to justice.
