National Stadium Karachi Revamp Complete
The stadium's renovation has transformed it into a state-of-the-art venue, equipped to host major international cricket events, and its inauguration marks a new era for cricket in Pakistan, with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 being a major milestone.

The renovated National Stadium Karachi is set to be inaugurated by President Zardari on February 11, featuring significant upgrades including a new pavilion building, modern amenities, and improved accessibility, making it ready to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The renovation of the stadium, formerly known as the National Bank Arena, has included the demolition and reconstruction of the pavilion building, installation of new seating, and addition of modern amenities such as LED lights, scoreboards, and grills. The removal of fences around the stadium aims to enhance the viewing experience for fans, while a new ring road and pedestrian bridge have been built to improve accessibility.
PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for the successful completion of the renovation, acknowledging the hard work and commitment of the entire team. The inauguration ceremony will feature performances by renowned singers Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga, along with a fireworks display and light show, making it a grand event.
With its revamped facilities and improved infrastructure, the National Stadium Karachi is now poised to host international cricket events, including the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, and provide a world-class experience for players and spectators alike.
