Champions Trophy 2025 Tickets: Pakistan Prepares to Host

Updated :

The International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation recently visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to assess preparations for the 2025 Men's Champions Trophy, scheduled to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9. The tournament will feature eight teams across three venues in Pakistan and Dubai, with Gaddafi Stadium set to host at least four matches, including the second semi-final on March 5.

The ICC delegation, comprising officials, broadcasters, and logistics personnel, thoroughly reviewed the stadium's facilities, including media boxes, dressing rooms, and enclosures. Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), briefed the delegation on the ongoing upgrades to the stadium, which are expected to be completed by the end of January. The upgrades include a new digital replay system, increased capacity, and a new players' enclosure at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The PCB has also shifted its upcoming ODI tri-series with New Zealand and South Africa to Lahore and Karachi due to the stadiums' readiness to host the Champions Trophy. The four-match series will now be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Stadium in Karachi, both of which are undergoing significant upgrades and renovations. The Champions Trophy will see 10-11 matches played in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, while the remaining games, including one semi-final, will be held in Dubai with India.

With the tournament schedule and venue preparations underway, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Champions Trophy 2025 tickets. The PCB claims that all upgrade work is progressing on schedule, and the country is set to host its first ICC event in nearly 30 years. The Champions Trophy is expected to be a major success, with top teams competing in a thrilling tournament that will showcase the best of international cricket.
