Ruchi Gujjar Alleges Fraud Against Producer
The complaint filed by Ruchi Gujjar against Karan Singh has brought attention to the issue of fraud and breach of trust in the entertainment industry, highlighting the need for greater transparency and accountability in business dealings.

Model and actress Ruchi Gujjar has filed a complaint against producer Karan Singh, alleging that he cheated her out of Rs 23 lakh by promising a television project that never materialized.
The situation escalated at the premiere of Singh's film 'So Long Valley' when Gujjar reportedly slapped him, leading to Mumbai Police booking Singh under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Gujjar has shared detailed records, including account numbers and documents, to support her claim, and police are investigating the matter.
Gujjar has accused Singh of fraud, breach of trust, and intimidation, alleging that he duped her of Rs 24 lakh by promising to co-produce a television serial. She claims that Singh contacted her through WhatsApp, introduced himself as a producer, and offered to add her as a co-producer, after which she transferred the money to his accounts.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter, including banking transactions, call records, and other evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to determine the extent of Singh's involvement in the alleged fraud.
