Adnan Sami Supports Operation Sindoor Against Terror
The operation targeted key terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, and was conducted without causing any harm to civilians, marking a significant milestone in India's efforts to combat terrorism.

Singer Adnan Sami has expressed his support for 'Operation Sindoor', a military action by India targeting nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali tourist.
The operation, which was carefully planned and carried out in a controlled manner, involved targeted attacks on nine terrorist camps believed to be key bases for planning and managing attacks against India. Adnan Sami, a Pakistani-born singer who now holds Indian citizenship, took to social media to express his support for the operation, saying "Jai Hind!!" and also took a dig at Pakistani TV news anchors.
Bollywood celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Nimrat Kaur have also praised the Indian Armed Forces for their efforts in the operation. The Ministry of Defence stated that the operation was carried out without targeting any Pakistani military facilities, and was conducted by the Indian Air Force without crossing the Pakistan airspace, taking the Pakistan armed forces by surprise.
Adnan Sami, who has been a vocal critic of the Pakistani government, recently met two young Pakistani boys in Azerbaijan who expressed their admiration for him and criticized the Pakistani Army. The boys told Sami that they were "lucky" to have left Pakistan "in good time" and that they too want to change their citizenship, expressing their hatred for the Pakistani Army, stating that it has destroyed their country.
The operation has been seen as a significant response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and Adnan Sami's support for it has sparked a mix of reactions on social media, with some praising his patriotism and others criticizing his stance. However, the singer remains committed to his views, having been a long-time resident of India and granted Indian citizenship in 2015 after his Pakistani passport expired.
