BJP Rallies Behind PM Modi After Operation
The BJP's show of support for the government and armed forces comes amid a surge in nationalist sentiment, with many Indians rallying behind the Prime Minister's strong stance against terrorism, and the party is likely to continue its efforts to mobilize public support for the government's actions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a Union Cabinet meeting following Operation Sindoor, a military operation conducted by the Indian Armed Forces in response to the massacre of innocents by terrorists in Pahalgam, which he described as a "moment of pride".
The operation resulted in significant losses for terrorist groups, with Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar admitting to losing 10 members of his family in the IAF air strike on Bahawalpur. Additionally, Lashkar-e-Taiyyaba chief Hafiz Saeed's headquarters in Muridke was reduced to rubble, and Hizbul launchpads in PoK, Pakistan were smashed by the IAF.
Karnataka BJP chief B.Y. Vijayendra has expressed support for Prime Minister Modi and the armed forces, stating that Indians have pledged to stand with them. He made this statement during a protest rally organized as part of the BJP's 'Janakrosh Yatra' against the Congress government, urging people to pray for strength for the soldiers and for the defeat of terrorists.
Vijayendra criticized the Congress party's policies, claiming they have emboldened terrorists, and expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, stating that it has brought great strength to the soldiers, and that they will succeed in the fight against terrorists and Pakistan.
