PS Plus Members Get New Games in May with Exciting ps Titles
The new games offer a mix of survival simulation, poker-inspired deck building, and retro-style FPS action, with Balatro being a standout title that challenges players to reach point thresholds by making poker hands, with ever-shifting modifiers, multipliers, and twists affecting scoring, making it a hard-to-put-down game.

PlayStation Plus members will receive three new games in May, including Ark: Survival Ascended, Balatro, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, available from May 6 to June 2, offering a diverse range of gaming experiences.
Ark: Survival Ascended is a survival simulation game where players can explore, tame and breed dinosaurs, and fight to reach the top of the food chain, while Balatro is a poker-inspired roguelike deck builder that challenges players to combine poker hands and unique joker cards to win big. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, on the other hand, is a retro-style FPS game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where players control a battle-hardened Space Marine on a perilous mission.
The three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from May 6 until June 2, and members have until May 5 to download April's games, including RoboCop: Rogue City, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker's Memory. Additionally, a rumored free PS Plus game for May 2025 is reportedly a teen slasher horror game, possibly the 2014 original or a remake of "Until Dawn", although confirmation is still pending.
With the new games set to replace the current batch of PS Plus games, members can look forward to a fresh set of gaming experiences, including the poker roguelike game Balatro, which will be available for free download on PlayStation 4 and 5 on May 6 as part of the PS Plus service.
