Pak India Tensions Rise Amid Evidence of Sponsored Terrorism
The evidence presented by Pakistan's ISPR has sparked concerns about the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, with many calling for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The international community's response to the evidence will be crucial in determining the next steps in addressing the issue of Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.

DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry presented irrefutable evidence of Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, accusing Indian army officers of orchestrating cross-border terrorism and supplying explosives to target civilians and security forces. The evidence includes videos, audio clips, and recovered materials, which allegedly show India's involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.
The evidence presented by Lt Gen Chaudhry includes an audio clip of an Indian major discussing the mode of payment for terrorism and the details of entry and terror financing. He also revealed that India operates a terror network inside Pakistan, providing IEDs, explosives, and funds to militants. The DG ISPR identified Indian handlers, including Major Sandeep Verma and Subedar Sukhwinder, and alleged that they directed terrorists to cause civilian casualties in Pakistan.
The recent arrest of an Indian-trained terrorist, Abdul Majeed, who was apprehended on April 25, and the recovery of an IED, two mobile phones, and Rs70,000 from him, further supports the claims of Indian-sponsored terrorism. Further investigation revealed an Indian-origin drone and Rs1 million in cash from his house. Lt Gen Chaudhry stated that the handler of the terrorist was a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the Indian army, Subedar Sukvinder.
The international community has been called upon to take notice of India's actions, and Pakistan's interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi, stated that Pakistan was monitoring the situation closely and would respond accordingly if an incursion were to take place. The tensions between Pakistan and India continue to rise, with the Indian government's motives for the current tensions, including the upcoming elections, being questioned.
