Naat Competition Unites Students in Spirituality
The Naat competitions brought together students and individuals with disabilities, promoting unity, spirituality, and inclusivity, while recognizing the talents and abilities of all participants, regardless of their abilities, and fostering a sense of community and social responsibility.

Birla Open Minds International School in Pampore hosted an Inter-School Tilawat-e-Quran and Group Naat Competition, bringing together students from various institutions to celebrate the occasion of Firaaq-e-Ramadhan with Quranic recitations and devotional poetry.
The event featured a renowned Kashmiri poet, Ghulam Hassan Ghamgeen, who delivered an insightful discourse on the art of Naat recitation and the importance of expressing love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). A panel of experts, including Peerzada Maulana Shakeel ur Rehman Owasi and Mirwaiz Khanqah-e-Faiz Panah Pakherpora, judged the competition, which aimed to nurture faith and spirituality among the youth.
In a separate event, a Naat competition was held exclusively for persons with disabilities, where a girl with a disability from Abbottabad, Syed Madiah Naseer, secured the top position in the 9th Right to Live Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Naat competition. The event featured 18 participants from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, with Naseer being awarded the first position, followed by Ali Ahmad from Rawalpindi in second place and Zamir Ahmad from Mansehra in third place.
The events showcased the deep love and devotion of the students for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the holy month of Ramadhan, while also highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring job quotas for persons with disabilities, as emphasized by MPA Munir Hussain Lughmani during the distribution of certificates and cash prizes to the winners.
