ASF Recovers Heroin asf Seizes 2kg of Ice Heroin
The seizures are part of a broader crackdown on drug trafficking, with the ANF and ASF working together to intercept and apprehend those involved in the illicit trade, recovering significant quantities of drugs and arresting suspects in the process.

Airports Security Force (ASF) recovered 2kg of ice heroin from a passenger, Kashif-ur-Rehman, who was attempting to board a Riyadh-bound flight at Islamabad International Airport, with the heroin hidden in a harmonium in his luggage.
The accused was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) after initial interrogation. In separate operations, ANF arrested 10 drug dealers involved in smuggling drugs in educational institutions and recovered 61.488kg of drugs worth Rs40.5 million. The ANF also recovered various quantities of hashish and heroin from passengers at Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi airports, as well as from a car and motorcycles in Gujrat and Peshawar.
Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled multiple attempts to smuggle drugs out of Islamabad International Airport, seizing hashish, heroin, and crystal meth. A passenger bound for Dubai had 312 grams of hashish hidden in his socks, while another passenger traveling to Barcelona via Doha had 5.89 kilograms of heroin in his baggage. A third passenger, headed to Sharjah, was found with 2.282 kilograms of crystal meth hidden in his luggage.
Cases have been registered against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act. The total value of the confiscated heroin is over Rs40 million, highlighting the ongoing efforts of the ASF and ANF to combat drug smuggling in the country.
