Today is Shab e Barat, JAC Exams Postponed
The postponed exams will now be held on March 4, and students are advised to check the updated schedule and make necessary arrangements to appear for the exams on the new date, with the JAC taking all necessary measures to ensure the exams are conducted fairly and smoothly.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) board exams for Classes X and XII, which began on February 11, have been postponed for a day due to the Islamic holy night of Shab-e-Barat, with the new schedule now set to resume on March 4 for the postponed exams.
Over 7.83 lakh students are registered for the exams, with 4,33,890 taking the Class X exams in 1,297 centres and 3,50,138 in 789 centres for Class XII. The exams will be conducted in two shifts, with the first shift starting at 9:45am and the second shift from 2pm to 5:15pm. The question papers consist of 50 marks for subjective questions, 30 marks for objective questions, and 20 marks for internal assessment or practical exams.
The JAC has implemented extensive security measures, including CCTV surveillance and flying squads to prevent malpractice. Examinees were provided with an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper before the exam. The exams will conclude on March 3 for theory papers and March 4 for practical exams, after the postponed exams are held.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will continue as scheduled, following the appointment of Dr. Natwa Hansda as the new JAC Chairman, ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams for all students.
