Box Office Clash: Movie Box Showdown
The latest box office numbers reveal a heated competition between Kangana Ranaut's Emergency and Rashi Thadani and Ashwin Varde's Azaad, with Emergency taking the lead, earning an estimated 17.68 crore in 9 days, while Azaad trails behind with 7.32 crore.
Emergency has shown a significant increase in its earnings, grossing 85-90 lakh on its 2nd Saturday, a 150% increase from the previous day. This boost has helped the film cross the Rs 15 crore mark at the domestic box office on its ninth day of release, despite facing strong competition from other films like Akshay Kumar's Sky Force and Azaad. The film's daily earnings have been steadily increasing, with Rs 2.5 crore on its opening day, Rs 3.6 crore on day 2, and Rs 4.25 crore on day 3.
On the other hand, Azaad has seen a decline in its earnings, collecting Rs 6.77 crore in its first week and adding only Rs 0.11 crore on day 8 and Rs 0.14 crore on day 9, bringing its total collection to Rs 7.06 crore. The film's daily earnings have been lower than Emergency's, with Rs 15-16 lakh on its 9th day, a 35-45% increase from the previous day. Despite its poor opening week, Emergency still managed to collect Rs 30 lakh on its second Friday, taking its cumulative total to Rs 14 crore.
The release of Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, has further intensified the competition, pushing Emergency and Azaad to the backseat. Sky Force earned Rs 21.50 crore in its first Saturday, outperforming both Emergency and Azaad. As the box office battle continues, it remains to be seen which film will emerge as the ultimate winner.
As the competition heats up, fans of both films are eagerly waiting to see how the numbers will unfold in the coming days. With the debut of new films, the box office landscape is expected to change, and only time will tell which movie will reign supreme.
