Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a revamped team management, led by former New Zealand head coach Mike Hesson, ahead of the T20I series against Bangladesh, scheduled to begin on May 28 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium. The new management includes Ashley Noffke as bowling coach, Hanif Malik as batting coach, and Mohammad Masroor as fielding coach.

The coaching setup brings significant international and franchise experience, with Hesson having previously coached New Zealand and Kenya. The support personnel include Cliffe Deacon as physiotherapist, Imran Ullah as strength and conditioning coach, and Naveed Akram Cheema as team manager. The series serves as an important part of Pakistan's preparation for major international events later this year.

The appointments come after underwhelming performances in recent international events, including the 2023 Asia Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi believes the new coaching setup will shape the future of Pakistani cricket. Aaqib Javed has been appointed as the Director of High Performance, and the team is expected to benefit from the new management's expertise.

The Pakistan national cricket team will look to bounce back from recent disappointments with the new management in place. The T20I series against Bangladesh will be a crucial test for the team, and the new coaching setup will be eager to make a positive impact. With the right guidance and support, the team is expected to perform well in upcoming international events.
