Lahore to Paris Direct Flights Launched by PIA
The new route will provide direct connectivity between Pakistan's cultural capital, Lahore, and the French metropolis, Paris, with weekly flights operating every Wednesday, offering convenient travel options for business travelers, tourists, and members of the Pakistani diaspora.

Pakistan International Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct flight route from Lahore to Paris, commencing on June 18, with weekly non-stop flights operating every Wednesday, aiming to benefit business travelers, tourists, and the Pakistani diaspora in France and Europe.
This move is part of PIA's gradual restoration of its European flight network, which was suspended in 2020 due to regulatory restrictions. The EU ban was lifted earlier this year after the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) revoked the ban imposed in July 2020 following a fake pilot license scandal. The new route adds to PIA's existing Paris operations, which include two weekly flights from Islamabad.
The airline aims to strengthen its European network, with plans to introduce flights to additional European destinations in the near future. The new route aims to meet the growing demand from the Pakistani diaspora in France and Pakistan, offering affordable fares and time savings. PIA had previously decorated a Boeing 777 aircraft with a model of the Eiffel Tower and introduced a wireless in-flight entertainment system on the Islamabad-Paris route.
The launch of the Lahore-Paris direct flight is expected to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between Pakistan and France, and PIA's efforts to expand its European network are seen as a positive step towards enhancing connectivity between the two regions.
