Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Navy for its professionalism and readiness, stating that they were prepared to launch an operation akin to Operation Dwarka, a historic naval operation in 1965, in response to Indian aggression.

The PM commended the Navy's performance in safeguarding ports and trade routes, and thanked international allies for their support during the heightened regional tensions. He also expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump for his role in brokering a ceasefire and his desire to play a role in resolving the Kashmir dispute.

During his visit to the Pakistan Navy's dockyard in Karachi, the PM lauded the navy's preparedness, saying India's aircraft carrier Vikrant retreated after sensing the Pakistani Navy's readiness to respond vigorously. He also commended the navy for its role in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of maritime trade and its resolute posture in countering adversarial maritime threats.

The PM reiterated that Pakistan was ready to give a stronger response to India if the neighboring country violated the ceasefire agreement, and called the harmony among Pakistan's armed forces a "golden chapter" in the country's history. The nation stood united during the recent standoff, and the PM praised the Navy's performance in thwarting Indian Navy aggression.
