PU Students Join Solidarity Walk Against India's Aggression

Pakistan's political leadership has adopted a united stance against India's aggression, condemning the targeting of civilians as a cowardly act and commending the swift and decisive response by the armed forces. Leaders from various parties have expressed their outrage and support for the military's response to India's strikes on Pakistani territory.

The Pakistani Army has responded to the attacks, with 26 civilians reportedly martyred and 46 injured. The country's leaders have praised the military's bravery and precision in responding to the aggression, with some calling for a strong and befitting response to India's actions. Rawalpindi residents showed solidarity with the Pakistan Army as daily life continued uninterrupted amidst tensions with India.

Rallies were held in favor of the army, and government and private offices, banks, and markets remained open as usual. The Punjab government directed officials to cancel leaves and ensure cent per cent attendance in offices. Civil Defence Department set up warning posts and activated sirens at 16 locations. The District Bar Association Rawalpindi also condemned India's attack on civilians and expressed support for the armed forces.

In Islamabad, residents condemned Indian aggression and expressed support for the Pakistan Armed Forces, with rallies being held in the federal capital. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also organized a rally, which was attended by federal minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and other leaders. The National University of Modern Languages (Numl) organized a solidarity walk to condemn Indian aggression and express support for the armed forces.

The solidarity walk, attended by university leadership, faculty members, deans, department heads, and students from across the country, reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding sovereignty and peace. Participants walked through the campus and outside, holding placards and chanting slogans in support of the armed forces and national unity.
