Samsung Galaxy One UI 7 Update Rolls Out
The update brings new features such as extended battery info, including Battery Health and Cycle Count, which help monitor battery performance over time, although these features are not available everywhere. AI-powered features such as Drawing Assist and Note Assist are also enhanced, and the stock editor has added AI-powered Audio Eraser.

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, to its flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6, in the US and several European countries, bringing new features and improvements.
The update introduces a fresh set of features, enhanced design, and Galaxy AI tools, including a new pill-shaped control on the lock screen, refreshed app icons, a redesigned camera UI, and Galaxy AI enhancements such as writing assist, call transcriptions, and an audio and object eraser. The update also brings a redesigned user interface, comprising Quick Panel, Notifications, Volume section, app icons, UI components, rounded shapes, and smoother animations.
The rollout is currently in the initial stage and will take some time to cover all users across the US. The update will be available for 46 devices, including last year's Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, and 2022 midrangers like the Galaxy A53. Samsung has released a detailed roadmap for the One UI 7.0 update, which will be rolled out in batches until June 2025.
The One UI 7.0 update also includes the April 2025 security patch, better app performance, and improved privacy features via Knox. Users are advised to use Wi-Fi for a smooth download and to check the latest OTA update under the Settings > Software update section.
As the rollout continues, users can expect significant changes to the UI and animations, and Samsung's commitment to providing regular updates and improvements to its devices. With the One UI 7 update, Samsung aims to enhance the overall user experience and provide a more seamless and intuitive interface.
