She was accompanied by her father, husband, and security personnel, and met with family members, visited her ancestral graveyard, and the school and college she established in 2018.

During her visit, Malala met with students at the school and college, urging them to study and make their future brighter. The school and college, which provide free education to nearly 1,000 girls, were established by Malala in 2018 to address the lack of educational opportunities for girls in the district. Malala also visited her uncle, who recently underwent heart surgery, and met with her maternal relative.
