Nawaz Sharif Meets Punjab Parliamentarians, Discusses Governance
Nawaz Sharif's meeting with parliamentarians from Punjab is seen as a significant step towards addressing the concerns of the people and improving governance in the province. The government's efforts to improve the economy and provide relief to the masses have been acknowledged by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which has recognized Pakistan's economic turnaround and progress.

Nawaz Sharif, the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), met with a group of parliamentarians from Punjab to receive their unfiltered feedback on the performance of the provincial government, led by his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and discussed ways to improve governance and address the concerns of the people.
During the meeting, the parliamentarians expressed their complaints about being left out of the decision-making process and the cold attitude of the bureaucracy, which they claimed was often misleading. However, they praised the government's performance, saying that Maryam Nawaz's leadership had resonated with the people of Punjab. Nawaz Sharif acknowledged the need to involve parliamentarians in decision-making and asked them to increase their liaison with constituents and seek suggestions from the people.
In a separate statement, Nawaz Sharif said that the economic indicators were improving, and the country was on the path to progress and prosperity. He cited the reduction in the policy rate, the stabilization of the rupee, and the increase in economic activities as evidence of the government's success. He also praised the efforts of his brother, Shehbaz Sharif, in improving the economy and attributed the economic turnaround to his relentless efforts.
The PMLN leadership also visited a development project in Lahore, where they reviewed the progress of the Gulberg Sustainable Development Model Project, which aims to provide sustainable development and improve the living standards of the people in the area. The meeting discussed public welfare projects and future political strategies, with senior party leaders and notable figures in attendance.
