Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Unveiled with Enhanced Camera

Updated :

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 series in India, featuring the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Ultra, which boasts an advanced camera system and AI capabilities. The new smartphone series includes three models: Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, each offering unique features and pricing options.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at ₹1,29,999, while the S25+ begins at ₹99,999 and the S25 starts at ₹80,999. The Galaxy S25 Ultra offers early bird benefits worth ₹21,000, including a storage upgrade and cashback options. All models include six months of Samsung's AI-powered Gemini Advanced assistant and 2TB of cloud storage. The series features large displays, high-capacity batteries, and advanced camera systems, making them an attractive option for consumers.

A camera comparison between the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, reveals minor improvements in the new phone's camera performance. The S25 Ultra boasts a 50MP sensor and brighter f/1.9 lens for its ultrawide camera, but actual sample comparisons show few notable differences. However, the S25 Ultra does exhibit less noise in midrange zoom cameras and provides finer detail in 10x zoom images.

The comparison also highlights that the S24 Ultra performs slightly better in terms of sharpening in some images, and it provides finer detail in telephoto zoom cameras. The S25 Ultra's new 50MP ultrawide sensor produces a smaller depth of field and reduced noise but may have lost detail due to a more processed look. Selfie shots on the S25 Ultra are more detailed and have less noise, making it a good option for those who love taking selfies.

While the Galaxy S25 Ultra shows some minor improvements, the Galaxy S24 Ultra still holds its own against its newer sibling. Further testing in the upcoming review will provide a more comprehensive assessment of the S25 Ultra's capabilities, helping consumers make an informed decision when choosing between the two smartphones.
