Students in Punjab to Stay Warm this Winter

The education departments in Punjab and Sindh have made a commendable move by relaxing their school uniform policies during the winter season. Effective until February 28, 2025, students in both provinces will be allowed to wear warm clothing, providing them much-needed relief from the harsh winter cold.

The decision toalter the school uniform policy in Punjab aims to protect students from the biting cold that grips the region during this time of the year. As per the new policy, students will be allowed to wear sweaters, jackets, coats, socks, and shoes of any color over their uniforms, giving them the freedom to choose their attire. This relaxation will be applicable to all government and private schools across the province, in an effort to ensure that no student bears the brunt of the cold weather.

The Sindh government has taken a similar step, with Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah issuing directives to allow students to wear warm clothing during the winter season.
