Riot Games, in association with Aftermath Ventures, has launched Legends Ascend South Asia, a four-month online-only amateur competition for League of Legends players in the region, featuring a prize pool of INR 10,00,000 and a chance to qualify for the League of Legends Championship Pacific Wildcard Playoffs.

The tournament, which starts on April 27, will feature teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives, and will provide a platform for emerging talent to compete against the best teams in the region. The competition will include three open qualifiers, a round-robin league stage, and double-elimination playoffs, with the winning team earning a spot in the League of Legends Championship Pacific Wildcard Playoffs.

The Legends Ascend South Asia 2025 aims to build a structured and credible competitive scene for League of Legends players in South Asia, giving players a chance to compete in a competitive environment and build a stronger community. The tournament will be broadcast on the FragNation YouTube Channel, with professional-grade production and live streams, allowing fans to follow their favorite teams and players throughout the competition.
