Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline on Saturday, with a drop of Rs1,400 per tola and Rs1,200 per 10 grams, due to a fall in world bullion rates, which slid under $3,300 per ounce. The decline in gold prices has resulted in local gold prices now standing at Rs347,200 per tola and Rs297,668 per 10 grams.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,400 to Rs347,200 on June 1, 2025. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs1,200 to Rs297,668. Additionally, the price of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs1,100 to Rs272,872, further reducing the cost of gold in the local market.

The price of silver also experienced a decline, with the price per tola decreasing by Rs24 to Rs3,456, and the price of 10 grams of silver decreasing by Rs21 to Rs2,962. The decrease in gold and silver prices is attributed to the decline in international market prices, which has led to a reduction in prices in the local market.

The drop in gold prices in Pakistan is expected to have an impact on the local jewelry market, with consumers potentially benefiting from the reduced prices. The National Bank of Pakistan's Treasury & Capital Markets Group will continue to monitor the exchange rates and gold prices, providing updates on any further changes in the market.
