Nandini Gupta Miss India Eliminated from Miss World 2025

The 72nd edition of the Miss World competition is underway in Hyderabad, India, with 108 contestants from around the world competing for the coveted title, however, Miss India Nandini Gupta has been eliminated from the competition, finishing in the top 20.

The event, being hosted by Stephanie del Valle and Sachiin Kumbhar, has been a month-long celebration of beauty, talent, and purpose, with thousands of attendees cheering on their favorite contestants at the Hitex Exhibition Centre. Nandini Gupta, who was crowned Miss World India at the Femina Miss World 2023 event, had earlier secured her spot as one of the four continental winners, representing Asia in the Top Model Challenge segment.

Although Nandini was one of the top 10 contestants from Asia, she failed to make it to the top 8, ultimately being eliminated from the competition. The top four contestants currently vying for the title are Ethiopia's Hasset Dereje Admassu, Martinique's Aurélie Joachim, Poland's Maja Klajda, and Thailand's Suchata Chuangsri. Nandini's stunning gown, designed by Vietnamese fashion designer Nguyen Tien Truyen, which symbolized the River Ganges, was a highlight of her appearance in the competition.

The Miss World 2025 grand finale will conclude with the crowning of the new Miss World, marking the end of a successful event that has brought together talented individuals from around the world. Despite her elimination, Nandini Gupta's performance has made her country proud, and she will be remembered for her achievements in the competition.
