Nandini Gupta, representing India, has secured a spot in the Top 40 category at the 72nd Miss World contest after winning the sub-event Miss World Top Model on May 24, following in the footsteps of Indian beauty queens who have made a mark on the global stage.
Gupta's journey to the pageant began after watching Aishwarya Rai's Miss World win, which sparked her interest in participating.
