Actor Adnan Siddiqui recently shared a harrowing account of a flight from Karachi to Lahore that experienced intense turbulence, causing panic among passengers and prompting the pilot to abort landing and return to Karachi.

The flight, operated by Fly Jinnah as FL-842, encountered a violent sandstorm while attempting to land in Lahore, resulting in severe turbulence and reduced visibility. The pilot executed a go-around maneuver, redirecting the flight back to Karachi, and air traffic control instructed the pilot to abort the landing due to unstable conditions.

Siddiqui, who was on the flight, expressed his fear and gratitude in a farewell note typed on his phone, thinking it might be his last message to the world. Although he later deleted the note, his account of the incident has sparked an outpouring of gratitude and support from fellow actors and fans, with many praising the pilot's presence of mind in handling the emergency.

The incident was captured on camera, showing passengers screaming in panic as the plane was hit by sudden crosswinds and reduced visibility. Unfavourable weather conditions at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport have disrupted flight operations, resulting in the cancellation of four flights and several delays, including the diversion or return of 22 other flights.

The safe return of the flight to Karachi, despite the severe weather conditions, is a testament to the pilot's expertise and the importance of prioritizing passenger safety. The incident serves as a reminder of the fragility and sacredness of life, and the need for vigilance and preparedness in the face of unexpected challenges.
