China has showcased its latest anti-stealth technologies at the 11th World Radio Detection and Ranging Expo, featuring cutting-edge radar equipment with a focus on anti-stealth capabilities, including the JY-27V high-mobility meter-wave air surveillance radar. This next-generation anti-stealth radar utilizes advanced technologies such as low-frequency band, high-power aperture, and sophisticated algorithms to enable precise detection of stealth targets, including the US' F-22 and F-35 fifth-generation fighters.

The JY-27V radar system, developed by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), boasts a massive AESA antenna that can unfold and start operation in minutes, and fold up for rapid evacuation, making it highly mobile and adaptable. The system has increased capabilities compared to its predecessor, including a bigger antenna, lower frequency, larger power aperture, and refined intelligence algorithms, allowing it to detect stealthy targets with greater accuracy.

In addition to the JY-27V, the expo also featured other advanced radars, such as the YLC-8E three-coordinate air surveillance radar and the SLC-7 fourth-generation intelligence radar. These systems are designed to counter stealth warplanes and enhance air defense capabilities, with strengths such as long detection range, high data rate, adaptive anti-jamming, and fast target identification. The YLC-8E radar works on the UHF band and features high-precision sensors, automatic deployment and retraction, and a fully digital phased array system for long-range early warning and detection of stealth aircraft.

The unveiling of these advanced radar systems demonstrates China's commitment to enhancing its air defense capabilities and countering stealth technology. The expo, which continues until Monday, provides a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and promoting innovation in the field of radar detection and ranging.
